Hi
Good luck with the website.
I just bought this fine pair of choppers this is
how the story goes
looking on websites trying to find cheap choppers,
Sure enough there is an add saying two mK1 choppers one £20 missing
front wheel the other £60 both for spares or restoring.
when you see an add like this your eyes light up
and you think bargain, phoned up and bought them straight away. The
description given was obviously a lot better than the bikes where.
when they where delivered they where taped
together the mk2 (not mk1 as stated) came apart as you pealed off the tape, I
mean the frame pealed away with the tape it was very funny thing to see.
but although the mk2 is in a bad way I
got the sissy bar out & the hub was still good I can restore the seat and
the seat post was that far down it looks brand new, the crank came off
with ease and the back rack just needs a rechrome.
so in the end I was not bitter it was still a good
£20 once you get over the shock.
I have got a couple of ordinary choppers but
these are the worst I have seen so it might make your new sight a bit
different
I will give you a picture of my 69 3+2 high back
when it is complete
hope this helps
cheers" A"
