Chopper
found in a book from the Far East
Hi! It's me
again! Foo from Singapore! I spotted another chopper
in a
book. This time in a special, nationally-sponsored (i.e.
official) coffee
table book called "Singapore - the Next Lap".
Published in 1991, it is a
summation of the government's vision for the upcoming
opportunities, targets
and challenges for Singapore. I forward herewith the cover
of the book AND
the page where our beloved Chopper appears. The picture shows a
man riding
on what appears to be a blue Chopper sans the gear-shift, at
what I suspect
strongly is the East Coast Park bicycle path of Singapore.
As you can see
the picture is very prominent and the Chopper concerned featured
very
obviously in what is a significant and historic publication.
Nice one!
This is indeed a satisfying "spot" for me!
